about

Hi, I'm Lisa Viger (pronounced Vee-jhay ... it's French :). I'm a vegan artist, photographer, gardener, and internet content creator living in Brooklyn, Michigan.  This is my personal blog where I follow whatever strikes my fancy at the moment. I've always been a painter and sculptor and expect to have art here, but I also have about a thousand other interests I'm passionate about. I live in a twisty Victorian style farmhouse that we built ourselves, that's almost entirely surrounded by vegetable gardens.

I love all the kids/people/animals with whom I share this beautiful planet, and enjoy showing others that a healthy vegan lifestyle can be economical, simple, fun, and delicious, too... which I do at Raw on $10 a Day (or Less)

My recipes, articles, art, and whatnot have been appeared in One Greet Planet, On Nonhuman Slavery, The Brooklyn Exponent,  and The Huffington Post.
